Jill Adams

Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI)

Jill Adams currently leads outreach efforts for the FBI’s Financial Crimes Section with a focus on financial institutions and related industry groups. In her role, she represents the FBI on FinCEN’s BSA Advisory Group (BSAAG) AML Effectiveness Working Group.

Jill previously served as Special Advisor at the FBI’s Washington Field Office. In addition, she held the position of a program analyst in the Money Laundering, Forfeiture and Bank Fraud Unit, as well as the Economic Crimes Unit at the FBI Headquarters in Washington, D.C.

Amanda Garabedian

Amanda has nearly 20 years of experience in credit union leadership and financial technologies.

She joined Adventure Credit Union in 2019 serving as the Chief Operating Officer and has played an instrumental role in redefining the company’s culture, while developing their strategic business goals and plan.

Prior to joining the credit union, Amanda was the AVP of Conversion Services for CUProdigy, a core and cloud CUSO. While with the CUSO, she worked with credit unions across the country on their technology and operational initiatives, including converting to the browser-based core platform and integrations with many financial technology partners.

Dr. Hossein Kazemi

Dr. Kazemi focuses his research and publications on monetary policy, exchange rates, financial markets, financial crisis, investment and business cycles, and economic pedagogy. His more recent publications on teaching economics focuses on how to teach macroeconomics and monetary policy in a more applied fashion using Bloomberg’s real-time data and analytics. Dr. Kazemi's current research focuses on the dynamic effects of the Federal Reserve’s quantitative easing.

Dr. Daisy Perez

Dr. Daisy Perez is an On Tap Credit Union Senior Executive of Mortgage Lending. She is in charge of the formulation and implementation of the organization's mortgage strategy, which includes residential loan origination and operations for more than 19,000 credit union members in Colorado. Dr. Perez has driven various in-house projects to diversify home loan products by partnering with non-profit and for-profit groups that aid in homeownership and down payment assistance for low-income families as part of her personal commitment to serve communities in need.

An insightful author, Dr. Perez recently released study on Mindset and Change Readiness in Lending Organizations in the United States Library of Congress, and frequently writes and lectures about the issues of homeownership and housing trends in industry forums.
